U. S. ANTIMONY ANNOUNCES RAIL SERVICE FOR ZEOLITE DELIVERY
AND TESTING OF GOLD AND SILVER LEACH PLANT

HIGHLIGHTS

1.    Concerns over climate change and environmental remediation have escalated worldwide. BRZ is a low-cost natural material which can remediate a wide variety of problems including water and air pollution, soil contamination, nuclear remediation, landfill issues, HAZMAT sites, heavy metal contamination, odors from CAFOs (concentrated animal feed operations), petroleum spills, sewage treatment, composting, and slaughter house and rendering plant contamination and odors

2.    BRZ plans to provide delivery of large quantities of bulk BRZ by rail to reduce transportation, packaging, and labor costs by up to $100.00 per ton and to make BRZ significantly more viable for remediation projects.

3.    Systematic test work of the Puerto Blanco mill is underway to start the leach plant in order to enhance recoveries of gold and silver from the Los Juarez mine. The mill has been on care and maintenance for four years.

4.    The price of antimony metal is gradually recovering.

November 4, 2019. Thompson Falls, Montana. United States Antimony Corporation (“USAC”, NYSE American “UAMY”) announces plans to provide rail delivery of bulk Bear River Zeolite (BRZ) zeolite to reduce transportation, packaging, and labor costs by up to $100.00 per ton. BRZ has vigorously pursued nearly all potential markets for the last nineteen years to become consistently profitable. BRZ has an advantage over other domestic and foreign zeolites in terms of purity, hardness, color, low-sodium, high exchange rates for cations such as ammonium, radioactive nuclides, and most heavy metals, and its ability to hold up to 55% of its weight in water. Reducing costs by up to $100.00 per ton will open major markets and increase sales without hindering profitability.

At the present time, the United States and most countries around the world have become very conscious about climate change and the long-term impact on the environment. Zeolites have the ability to solve many of the problems associated with man-made climate deterioration. Synthetic zeolites have been engineered for specific applications but are highly expensive. BRZ is a natural zeolite that is not expensive. In order to take advantage of this new trend and to break into a much larger market, BRZ will offer the best product at economical prices.

Systematic testing of the gold, silver, and antimony mill at Puerto Blanco for the Los Juarez mine is underway. The mill has been on care and maintenance for four years. Ball mill liners, water systems, and new equipment have been installed.  Completion of the laboratory is imminent which will allow the startup of the leach to enhance gold and silver recovery.

Estimated sales during October 2019 are as follows:

Item

October 2019

Antimony pounds

131,934

BRZ zeolite tons

1,133

The average Rotterdam price for antimony metal during October 2019 was $6,190 per metric ton or $2.80   per pound. The price of antimony is now starting a slow upward trend. Steps to lower the costs of antimony production have included lowering the mining costs in Mexico, renegotiating North American contracts, and plant improvements

CEO John Lawrence said “The recent worldwide concerns over climate change and environmental remediation pose an excellent target for increasing sales and profitability of BRZ. Installing equipment to provide rail delivery will allow BRZ to provide one of the highest quality zeolites in large quantities at the lowest price.”

U. S. ANTIMONY ANNOUNCES ANTIMONY  TRISULFIDE PROJECT AND PROGRESS ON THE LOS JUAREZ GOLD AND SILVER PLANT

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

1.    USAC has received a significant award for the development and delivery military-grade antimony trisulfide.

2.    Mil, grade antimony trisulfide sells for significantly higher margins than antimony oxide or metal.

3.    This will make the US increasingly independent of Chinese supplies,

4.    At the same time, USAC is focused on starting the production of gold and silver from Los Juarez due to the sustained higher prices.

October 7, 2019. Thompson Falls, Montana. United States Antimony Corporation (“USAC”, NYSE American “UAMY”) announced the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) of the Department of Defense (DOD) has awarded United States Antimony Corporation a grant of $510.528 to establish a North American source other than China of antimony trisulfide meeting the military specifications.

At its plant in Montana, USAC will process six 500 kg batches of antimony mined in Mexico. It will be ground, sized, packaged, and quality controlled by Perkins, Rouge and Paint (PRP) in Connecticut. PRP is a main supplier of trisulfide to the DOD. A report and the samples will be submitted to the contracting officer for DLA Strategic Materials. The operating period will be for one year starting on September 16, 2019. USAC will be part of the integrated product team (IPT) Including PRP, DLA Strategic Materials, and US ARMY (RDECOM-ARDEC PYROTECHNICS TECHNOLOGU DIVISION).

The award to US Antimony Corp. is being issued to establish a firm fixed price contract for the DLA Strategic Materials National Defense Stockpile. Antimony trisulfide is a major component in primers for all center-fired ordinance. The product has historically been supplied by the People]s Republic of China (PRC).  Mil spec antimony trisulfide is priced on a multiple of the 70.5% antimony content plus the sulfur (the total weight of the antimony trisulfide rather than the antimony content) and the price of the contained antimony is typically two to three times the price of the antimony itself. Additional markets for antimony trisulfide include friction brakes.

At the gold, silver, and antimony Puerto Blanco mill for the Los Juarez mine, the fencing of the tailings pond, completion of the water well, and most of the major construction has been completed; Testing will proceed during the completion of the laboratory.

The COMUNIDADA (town) of Los Juarez is on the east end of the jasperoid ore body and rock walls and houses were built using the ore. At the time of construction, no one realized this was gold/silver/antimony ore.

The average Rotterdam price for antimony metal during Q3 2019 was $6,022.91 per metric ton or $2,731 per pound. Steps to lower the cost of antimony production are being established,

CEO John Lawrence said “The lower prices of antimony could be offset by by the production of antimony trisulfide, but antimony prices are expected to rebound. Antimony is a strategic metal used to harden lead in ordinance and lead-acid storage batteries. Following WW II, the United States built a 40,000 ton strategic stockpile of metal that was all sold by 2003. Antimony oxide is a flame retardant used with a halogen in plastics, paints and textiles in aircraft, vehicles, clothing, and insulation on all electronic wiring. The price of both silver and gold are sharply up and there is no problem selling them, so USAC is fast-tracking their production from the Los Juarez deposit.”

U. S. ANTIMONY ANNOUNCES THE START OF GOLD AND SILVER PRODUCTION FROM THE LOS JUAREZ MINE AND RESULTS OF THE NEW FURNACES IN MEXICO

July 1, 2019. Thompson Falls, Montana. United States Antimony Corporation (“USAC”, NYSE American “UAMY”) announced that the Puerto Blanco flotation mill in Guanajuato, Mexico will commence milling the 30,000 metric ton stockpile of Los Juarez gold/silver/antimony ore in July 2019. The decision has come after exhaustive testing of the recovery of gold and silver from legacy flotation concentrates.

The concentrate that was tested was produced from approximately 415 metric tons of Los Juarez ore and represents about 50% of the total value of the precious metals (it does not include most of the antimony value or any of the precious metal values that will be recovered from the mill tailings by the CIL circuit). The concentrate was caustic leached at the Madero smelter to remove most of the antimony.  Subsequently, 8.03 metric tons of the leach residue were shipped to Montana to recover the gold, silver, and remaining antimony. After processing, 8.464 ounces of gold and 846.1 ounces of silver were sold. The recovery of both the gold and silver from the flotation concentrates was 98%.

The ratio of gold to silver in the flotation concentrate was 1 ounce of gold per 126 ounces of silver. Historically in smaller samples, the ratio has been on the order of 1ounce of gold per to 250 to 500 ounces of silver. This lower ratio could mean that there may be coarse gold that went undetected in the periodic sampling of the concentrates and only appeared when the total concentrate was smelted. In addition, the higher gold values are likely a result of higher-grade gold areas in the ore body. The shallow drilling program revealed many areas where the gold was in the 0.10 to more than 1.0 ounce per metric ton.

The CIL circuit will be started as soon as the flotation mill and caustic circuits have been shaken down.

The recovered values of Los Juarez after flotation, caustic leaching of the flotation concentrates and cyanide leaching of the flotation tailings are estimated below:

The installation of the two new LRF furnaces at the Madero smelter in Mexico has materially increased the capacity of the plant and significantly reduced costs. Coal consumption has been reduced from 30% to 12.5% of the feed to each LRF. Natural gas, electricity, and manpower have been reduced, and the cost benefits will show up in Q3. One LRF has replaced six SRF furnaces for roasting slags. A third LRF is now installed. The Madero smelter will now produce crude metal for the Montana Smelter to make oxide or finished metal to be sold directly to the consumer which will also cut costs significantly.

U. S. ANTIMONY RESPONDS TO CHINESE RARE EARTH THREATS
WITH CONTINUED EXPANSION OF SMELTER CAPACITY

June 3, 2019. Thompson Falls, Montana. United States Antimony Corporation (“USAC”, NYSE American “UAMY”) reported continued expansion of its Madero, Coahuila, Mexican smelter capacity. This will include the installation of long rotary furnace (LRF) number 3. The Company has an additional 3 LRFs in inventory. Furnace recovery is in the 96%-98% range and the additional capacity is expected to handle production increases from the Company’s Wadley and Sierra Guadalupe Mines.

Three long rotary furnaces at the Madero smelter in Coahuila, Mexico

Although antimony is not a rare earth, the U.S. Government considers it to be critical and strategic due its military applications.  China currently controls 92% of the world supply of antimony products. Historically, China had relied on its domestic mines for ore, but its raw material supply has dwindled, and they are now importing 74.2% of their feed from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Myanmar, Australia, Honduras, Bolivia, Turkey, and other countries. While China no longer dominates the supply of antimony ore, the country continues to subsidize its antimony smelting industry in order to dominate the processing of the metal like it has done in several other rare earth elements.

If a trade war lingers with China or a direct military conflict with China or other nations begins, the U. S. is not prepared for a disruption of the antimony supply chain.

USAC is the only significant North American producer of strategic antimony products that include antimony metal, antimony oxide, sodium antimonate, and antimony trisulfide:

  • Antimony metal is alloyed with lead as a hardener for bullets and for lead-acid deep-cycle industrial batteries for trucks and heavy equipment.

  • Antimony oxide is a flame retardant in textiles such as clothing, tents, canvas, carpeting and other industrial fabrics. It is extensively used as a flame retardant in most plastic goods such as electrical wire insulation, vehicle and aircraft interiors, molded plastic goods, and plastic cabinets.

  • ·Sodium antimonate is used as a fining agent or degasser for optical glass used in cameras, field glasses, microscopes and telescopes. It is also used as a flame retardant in high temperature styrene products.

  • Antimony trisulfide is used in primers for all center-fired ordnance and is a strategic material to the U. S. military. It is also used in various pyrotechnics for flares and other fireworks, for tracer bullets, and for friction brakes in aircraft, trucks and other vehicles.

In addition to USAC’s infrastructure of processing equipment, the Company owns or controls large reserves of antimony in North America which make USAC more attractive as a vertically integrated and strategic supplier.

Estimated sales for May 2019 were as follows:

Product

May

Antimony pounds

159,142

Zeolite short tons

1,292

Inventories of Mexican antimony mine ore continue to grow. The average Rotterdam price for antimony metal during May 2019 was $6,972 per metric ton or $3.16 per pound.

The Puerto Blanco leach plant located in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico is in the testing phase for the production of gold and silver from the Los Juarez mine.

CEO John Lawrence said “USAC is expanding production of antimony to shield some of the U.S. antimony market from any retaliatory Chinese rare earth policies.   The Company will soon have three LRF furnaces in place.  In addition, USAC is preparing to begin pilot production of its gold, silver, and antimony project at Los Juarez which will further augment its strong existing supplies of antimony in North America and will launch the Company into precious metals production.”

U. S. ANTIMONY REPORTS STRONG ANTIMONY  AND ZEOLITE PRODUCTION IN FEBRUARY 2019

March 4, 2019. Thompson Falls, Montana. United States Antimony Corporation (“USAC”, NYSE American “UAMY”) reported record Mexican antimony productions and the sales of high purity antimony metal. During 2018 USAC produced an average of approximately 57,002 pounds of contained antimony per month from Mexico. During January and February 2019, the Company has produced an average of approximately 112,000 pounds per month from Mexican operations. To expedite the liquidation of the inventory, USAC has resumed the  production of high purity antimony metal at its Madero smelter for the first time in three years. The first truckload will be delivered by March 12, 2019.

Although most of the new production of Mexican antimony is from the Wadley Mine, the production from the Sierra de Guadalupe Mines is also ramping up. Work has included the construction of a mining camp at the Santa Monica drift which contains sulfide ore, and production from the Santa Fe drift that contains primarily oxide ores. The use of pneumatic drills, compressors, load haul dump (LHD) equipment, and explosives are a distinctive advantage over Wadley production. The Guadalupe manto or layered deposits are very similar to the Wadley, but the existing infrastructure at Wadley is huge compared to Guadalupe.

The completion of the cyanide leach plant at the Puerto mill for the Los Juarez gold, silver, and antimony open pit mine includes plumbing, wiring, roofing, and the completion of the tailings pond. We anticipate completion of the tailings pond in Q2, 2019. The plant is designed for operator simplicity in order to maximize recovery. Reagents and supplies are being sourced and preparations are being made to start trucking ore to the mill.

Bear River Zeolite has been sold in Canada, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Korea, China, Brazil, Peru, Dubai, Ireland, Mexico, and Australia, directly and through intermediaries. New uses and markets are being developed and sales for February were 1,605 tons. The operation continues to be a source of expansion funds for USAC.

Estimated production for January and February 2019 is as follows:

The antimony production did not include the inventories. The average Rotterdam price for antimony metal during February 2019 was $7,765.25 per metric ton or $3.522 per pound

CEO John Lawrence said “The strong antimony and zeolite production will help complete the construction of the Los Juarez cyanide leach circuit at Puerto Blanco which is proceeding on schedule.”

U. S. ANTIMONY REPORTS PROGRESS AT ALL OPERATIONS

February 4, 2019. Thompson Falls, Montana. United States Antimony Corporation (“USAC”, NYSE American “UAMY”) reported on the Reynosa antimony plant, Mexican antimony production, North American antimony gold and silver production; progress at Los Juarez, BRZ zeolite operations, and the large inventory of antimony at the end of January.

The dismantling and trucking of the Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, LANXESS antimony plant in Reynosa, Mexico has been on schedule. More than 50 truckloads of equipment have been shipped to the other USAC operations in Mexico and the United States. Payments for the real property have been timely and should be completed in early February.

Five long rotary furnaces with stainless steel cooling ducting, hoppers and dust collectors; burners, blowers, and fans from Reynosa have been delivered to the Madero smelter and two are currently being installed. In addition, cast iron molds, scales, two fork lifts, a truck, a car, a Caterpillar loader, a100 HP compressor, two 250KW portable generators; two motor control centers; an overhead traveling hoist, three welders, plasma torch, structural steel, man lift, laboratory equipment, tools, extra stainless steel baghouses, a 12,000 gallon water tank, pumps, a truckload of electric motors, a truckload of spare parts, truckloads of filter media and wire cages for the dust collectors, a truckload of new one ton totes, and large amounts of hydrogen peroxide and caustic. The equipment will result in a major increase in capacity and a lowering of costs at Madero.

The North American supplier of raw materials has resumed production and has shipped seven trucks containing a total of 128,013 pounds of contained antimony together with gold and silver during January. During 2018, they only shipped 37 trucks that averaged 57,002 pounds of contained antimony per month.

In January 2019 we received seven truckloads of Wadley direct shipping ore containing approximately 35% antimony containing about 70,000 pounds of  antimony. This is a sharp increase from last year when the monthly average was  about 48,000 pounds. Two compressors have been delivered to the mine and are expected to rapidly increase production once installed.

At the Puerto Blanco flotation mill, the assembly of the cyanide leach plant is rapidly progressing. From Reynosa the plant received one large stainless steel leach tank, an elaborate indirect gas-fired rotary kiln for the regeneration of carbon, three 4 foot multi deck rotary screens, three air operated diaphragm pumps; three motor control centers with breakers, starters, conduit, wire; structural steel, decking and steel stairways’ 5 transformers, 3 overhead traveling hoists, pipe, a large number of electric motors, pipe, laboratory equipment, a stainless steel dust collector, a platform scale, and a 75 HP electric compressor. Production from the caustic leach plant at Madero to process the flotation concentrates has resulted in close to a 100% recovery of the gold and silver. The pilot production is scheduled for shipment during February.

Estimated production for January 2019 is as follows:

The sale of zeolite was 1,370 tons in January 2019. A new sales team was hired and has already obtained new customers.

CEO John Lawrence said “The equipment from Reynosa was a major bonus for all operations and will increase capacity while lowering costs. The resumption of production from our North American supplier from an average of 57,002       pounds of antimony per month during 2018 to 128,013 during January 2019           is a major boost in antimony production as well as gold and silver. The testing of the Los Juarez caustic leach of flotation concentrates has been finished with excellent recoveries of gold and silver, and the construction of the cyanide leach circuit at Puerto Blanco is proceeding on schedule. The inventory of 348,985 pounds of contained antimony at the end of January is very large and should provide substantial cash flow once processed”
